Location: Kauna'oa Beach is located behind Mauna Kea Resort.
Access: Request a beach pass at the Mauna Kea Resort entrance. The number of beach passes is limited.
Conditions: Kauna'oa Beach is a large white sand beach. Expect calm surf in the summer and fall, and rough water and larger waves at times in the winter. Kauna'oa Beach has excellent boogie boarding and surfing conditions.
