★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stay and a place we will definitely come back to anytime we come to the big island. Entire vibe of the place is top notch and very modern, the view of the beach and the sunset views are breathtaking. This is likely the best view on the entire island, nothing came close to this for the price that I found. You can access the beach, and chairs and umbrella are complimentary every day, along with renting snorkel gear for 2 hours daily. hotel staff are all very easy going. There is a hike next to the residences that you can take to go to the Mauna Kea resort The beach is amazing and has tons of snorkeling opportunities, tons of fish to see as well as a turtle or 2. Super clean kitchen, bathroom, organic soaps and bath gel. Kitchen only has the basics, we got stuff from Costco before coming so we stocked the fridge for the duration of our stay. Note there are not many places within walking distance other than hotel restaurants which were decent but not amazing. Rent a car! ~RaheelN. (September 2023)
