Property Reviews
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mauna Lani Terrace is a wonderful place to stay on the Big Island in the winter. It has all the amenities we need. The climate is warm-not too hot-and usually sunny. The beach has a small protected bay which is usually swimmable and has good snorkeling. The grounds are VERY beautiful and the layout is private and laid back. The gorgeous Royal fish ponds are a big plus. Our attractive ground floor 2 BR unit was spacious for our family of 4 and well appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were many thoughtful amenities: snorkeling fins, beach chairs, extra towels etc. There are good restaurants and food markets in the Kings and Queens shops and in Waikiloa Village. I recommend KTA for grocery shopping. One tip is that the covered parking spots are a bit tight for large cars so try to stay mid-sized or smaller. Also, to leave the exit gate you need to drive very close (about a foot) to it before it will open. ~Marcy S. (January 2025)

The rental place was nicely stocked and well kept While the view was not of the ocean it instead offered sunset views through the palm trees and a private location away from the noise of the pool. ~Robert R. (February 2024)
